Shiloh Youth News

May 2010

 May 8 – Saturday

Make plans to go fishing and have a cookout at Square Circle Ranch, in Graniteville, S.C.  We will leave the church at 9:30 a.m. and return around 3:30 p.m.  Bring your fishing rod or pole, along with bait.  See a youth leader for a permission slip.

May 14 – Friday

Relay for Life at Aiken High School.   Although we do not have a booth this year, we still plan to go and support this cause.  Raffles and food are available, so bring your money.  Time and place to meet will be announced later.

May 15 – Saturday

The pastor needs help with passing out Revival fliers.  Meet at the church at 10:00 a.m. if you are willing to help.

May 16 – 19  Spring Revival

We will kick off revival with Sunday night  being Youth Night.  Please make plans to attend revival as many nights as possible.  We will have a taco bar ready at 5:30 p.m. in the youth room.  Let’s try to have the highest attendance since this night is also Sunday School night.  We need to plan on sitting together during this service also.  Revival services begin at 7:00 each night.

May 23 – Sunday

We will honor our graduating seniors.  They will march this day during the 11:00 service.  We will begin the day with breakfast to honor them.  All youth are invited.  Breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Revival
By Thomas Mosely

Revival is a blessing, that puts us back in his saving grace.
It brings us back from the sinful world.
Puts us back on the path of rightousness.
Revival is an awakening.
Brings us back to the Lord.
It opens our eyes to what is right.
Its our second chance.
