Homecoming 2009
Our hats are off to all who had a part in making Shiloh's Homecoming 2009 a big success.
The Shiloh faithful were at it early, dropping off many wonderful dishes at the Family Life Center for the meal that was to come after the service. The church choir under the direction of Roland Seigler and accompanied by pianist Pam Fulmer and Organist Buddy Quattlelbaum kicked off the special homecoming service with "Honor & Majesty" . Rev. Taylor Wells welcomed the congregation and presented Exerpts of Shiloh's History and read a letter from a former Pastor, Bobby Waite.
Next, Brother Roland Seigler came and led the choir, with some help from the congregation, in a rousing rendition of When We All Get To Heaven.
Rev. Wells then introduced our guest speaker, Rev. J.B. Redd. Brother J.B. came a shared the message God had laid on his heart. We were all blessed by God's message and enjoyed Brother J.B.'s sense of humor.
After the service, we all made our way to the Family Life Center for an afternoon of good food, good friends and wonderful fellowship.
As Brother Bobby Waite mentioned in his letter, Shiloh Baptist Church is a wonderful place to call home. We, again, thank each and every one who had a part in our Homecoming Celebration. May God bless you all.
