John wrote, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory …” (John 1:14). In Ephesians Paul wrote the following
prayer: “that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.” (Ephesians 3:17)
Jesus came into the world not only to dwell among us, but also to dwell in us
through faith. We begin a new year on Sunday, but we don’t have to start the
year alone. Jesus came to save us from our sins and to live in us. Make room for Jesus in your daily schedule. Make room for Jesus in your heart. Let Him dwell in your heart and be at home in your life. May God help us to get back to the basics of our mission to make disciples in Aiken and the world one person at a time.
